Collaboration, Resources + More To Help You Build
Whether or not you have started building your Hack to the Future 2020 project, the Slack Channel is the perfect place to connect with other developers!
Not only can you bounce ideas off each other and ask other developers for technical help, but you can also use the Slack Channel to ask the Finastra and Devpost teams questions!
Spread the word
We’d love you to help us to promote the hackathon in a rather different and fun way: we invite you to describe #HackToTheFuture using just six words… because less is more, right?
Guidelines for twitter:
- Start with #HacktoTheFutureInSixWords
- Then write your 6 words as 6 separate words or one sentence (your choice!)
- Then add the following text: “Join @FinastraFS's #HackToTheFuture hackathon today and help us to redefine finance for good: https://bit.ly/31AD2q1 #HackingForGood”
- Emojis are welcome :)
We will share your best creations during the duration of the hackathon! Thank you in advance.
Finding an idea
In case you’re still looking to find an idea, make sure you join one of the upcoming live ideation sessions with our design thinking experts:
- Find your hackathon idea with Design Thinking #2, 27 Oct, at 12pm UK time. Register here: https://www.eventbrite.fr/e/125348977165/
- Find your hackathon idea with Design Thinking #3, 29 Oct, at 12pm EST. Register here: https://www.eventbrite.fr/e/125351452569/
And you can also check the list of Project Ideas shared by hackathon partners, and other hackers looking for teammates.
Teaming up
Looking for a challenge team? The Slack Channel can also help you connect with potential teammates. You can also use the challenge Participants Tab to search for other developers looking to team up, check out their skills and message them to see if they want to collaborate.
Resources
Figuring out where to start with your project can sometimes be a hurdle in your building journey. The Resources Tab can be a great place to find your footing and take advantage of the documents and other helpful tips.
Already working on your project, but could use a little help? In addition to asking questions in the Slack Channel or Discussion forum, these resources are there to assist and may bring you one step closer to a winning project.
Special thanks to our partners: The African American Credit Union Coalition, Attijariwafa Bank, Capgemini and Tesselate, all offering incubation opportunities and support after the hackathon to help the winners create market ready solutions!
Now it’s time to get connected - we can’t wait to see your project!
