Hack to the Future - timeline extended!

We have had an incredible response to our hackathon, with more than 3,500 participants registered from over 70 countries! From Fiji to Antarctica, developers, creative thinkers and change agents are primed and ready to hack for good, and already submitting ideas…ranging from a teen-focused banking, to financial coaching, to ecommerce apps for the agricultural sector. The range and scope of the ideas being generated are outstanding!

However, despite being 100% virtual, we understand that our communities face change on an almost daily basis; new lockdown protocols, school holidays and other personal circumstances. Others wish to participate in more than one project, but can’t find the extra time to fit it in around work commitments.

So, we’ve decided to extend the submission deadline from Nov 22nd to Dec 20th, to give more time to those willing but unable to participate right now, and defer the judging period to January. More ideas = more opportunities to change the world, and we hope that if you have not yet been able to bring your innovative idea to life, this extra four weeks will give you the chance to get involved!
